What is an Oregon Registered Agent?
An Oregon registered agent is a person or entity that accepts legal and state mail on behalf of your business. Per OR Rev Stat § 63.111, all Oregon LLCs and corporations must appoint and maintain an Oregon registered agent. In addition, your registered agent must:
- Maintain a physical address in Oregon (called a registered office)
- Stay open during regular business hours to accept notices and mail on your behalf
- Contact you when new mail or notices are received
- Forward your documents to you in a timely manner

Can I be my own Oregon registered agent?

Do I sign up before or after I form my Oregon business?
